Microsoft, as we mentioned in an earlier post, is preparing a major review of how new features and enhancements are provided in Windows 10 through Windows Update.
In an effort to speed up the process informations, Microsoft recently announced the 'Windows Feature Experience Pack', which is designed to provide users with features and updates as separate downloads.
Το Windows Feature Experience Pack είναι προς το παρόν διαθέσιμο για τους Insiders που παρακολουθούν το channel beta του προletterof Windows Insider.
In a new tweet, Microsoft clarified that the Windows Feature Experience Pack will be integrated into the existing Windows 10 update process.
The enhancements included in the Windows Feature Experience will eventually be released to all customers through Windows Update as part of the monthly optional updates.
So in the next period, you will notice a jump in both "OS build" and "Windows Feature Experience Pack" at the same time after the application of monthly updates from Windows Update.
I am not sure I understand. The Feature Pack isn't a "Feature on Demand". Any Feature Pack update that goes to retail customers (eg non Insiders) gets wrapped up into the existing servicing we do. Think "C" preview releases, etc. There isn't any additional servicing happening.

The future plan is to deliver new features during the monthly optional updates for Windows 10, and Insiders will start receiving additional features without downloading any new previews.
For consumers, this means that Microsoft could soon release new features, improve them, or even remove them during the monthly updates instead of waiting for the major operating system updates, which were released twice a year. spring and autumn.
Note that Windows 10X will also use the "Feature Experience Pack".
In addition, Microsoft claims that Windows 10X will download and apply updates in less than 90 seconds by splitting the operating system into different containers.
In the future, Windows 10 is also expected to have faster Windows 10X updates, and the Feature Experience Pack could be the first step in the process.
