Microsoft seems to be preparing a big event at 2 May, but no one knows the reason, at least for the time being.
The company has today sent invitations to the press in the usual enigmatic way it uses before an important announcement, but the specific invitation that follows below seems to indicate that the upcoming event will focus on training under the hastag subtitle:
'Learn what's next' and '#MicrosoftEDU'
or in English:
"Learn what's next" and the hashtag #MicrosoftEDU
It has been known for a long time that Microsoft will be holding a major event ahead of the Build conference (which is in May), but rumors haven't said much about what exactly the company is up to.
Signs indicate there will be some new announcement product at the event, but we're unlikely to see the new Surface Pro 5 or Surface Phone, according to ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley.
Microsoft could reveal from the next non-Pro Surface, to a convertible tablets or a Surface Book with a 360-degree hinged screen, like the Lenovo Yoga.
However, whatever you read on the internetnetwork, no one can say for sure what the company will present at the upcoming event on May 2nd.
More information may be leaking later ...
