Microsoft Moonraker: While Apple was building its own smartwatch, Nokia seems to have had its own smartwatch offerings. Nokia Moonraker SmartWatch never came to market, mainly because Microsoft wanted to promote the development of its Band.
While Moonraker had a series of sensors that allowed you to lift your hand to read texts or download it to disable the screen, Microsoft chose Band's release because it believed it had more functionality.

It is unlikely that we will see "Moonraker" in the market, but Microsoft may be thinking of something new and more sophisticated for the future.
Microsoft is currently developing the second-generation Band. While the software platform for the upcoming Microsoft Band 2 will remain the same. What is expected to change is the appearance and feel of the device. The next generation of the band will be available later this year after the release of Windows 10.
