Microsoft has just announced that multi-factor authentication is now available to all users of Office 365 after its 2013 debut, which only concerned administrators.

The new option will be offered to all users without any extra charge or subscription. It will also include multiple options, including mobile and fixed phone calls or text messaging, application alerts, and single-use codes that appear in apps.
The company explains that once the user has enabled multi-factor authentication, he must set the second authentication factor on his next connection. Every subsequent connection requires and requires the use of the password and the recognized phone.
