Microsoft has just announced that multi-factor authentication is now available to all users of Office 365 after its 2013 debut, which only concerned administrators.
The new option will be offered to all users without any additional charge or registration. It will also include multiple options including mobile and landline phone calls or texts messages, app notifications and one-time codes displayed in apps.
Η εταιρεία εξηγεί ότι, αφού ο χρήστης ενεργοποιήσει το multi-factor authentication, θα πρέπει να ρυθμίσει τον δεύτερο παράγοντα πιστοποίησης κατά την επόμενη σύνδεσή του. Σε κάθε επόμενη σύνδεση επιβάλλεται και θα απαιτείται η χρήση του code access and the recognized phone.
