Microsoft has announced that MSDN Magazine will stop publishing at the end of this year, three decades after the first issue came to light.
MSDN Magazine originally started as two separate magazines called Microsoft Systems Journal and Microsoft Internet Developer, and which were merged in 2000 under the name MSDN.
While Microsoft has not provided too many details about why it will withdraw MSDN magazine, the company says it is making that decision because its services have expanded significantly.
Subscribers will get their money back
The company states: "As the productand Microsoft services have expanded exponentially over the years, MSDN Magazine has had its own evolution. We have realized that it is time to retire MSDN Magazine and continue its work through online channels such as docs.microsoft.com.”
