A brief information about Sunday. Microsoft is constantly praising its “new innovations” with Windows 11 and all the great things it has to offer.
A user so he took an old 2000 computer and made a video with Windows NT 3.51.
OK, the Windows NT 3.51 user interface looks old fashioned. But the functional system still running on a computer from the year 2000 (with a 600 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM and a slow hard drive).
The user shows in the video how incredibly fast the applications launch.
Please remind me how we are moving forward. In this video, a machine from the year ~2000 (600MHz, 128MB RAM, spinning-rust hard disk) running Windows NT 3.51. Note how incredible snappy opening apps is. 👇 pic.twitter.com/YEO824vIqI

Then there's also a Windows 11 computer (Surface Go 2 quad-core i5 processor at 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM, SSD) to see how fast the same apps launch.
Now look at opening the same apps on Windows 11 on a Surface Go 2 (quad-core i5 processor at 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM, SSD). Everything is super sluggish. pic.twitter.com/W722PNEGv0
