H application Skype Translator είναι μια από τις πιο καινοτόμες technologies made available by Microsoft as it allows Skype users who speak different languages to chat with each other using the service that automatically translates each other's words in real time.
So far we have known it as a standalone application for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, but according to the developer the Skype Translator will soon be integrated into the desktop version of Skype and will allow Windows users to get in touch with friends who do not speak the same language.
Microsoft says the new feature will be added to the Skype application for Windows computers at the end of the summer.
Skype Translator currently supports only four languages, English, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese. It also supports 50 languages for instant messaging, and the company promises to add more to the next updates.
"Last month we made it easier to make the Skype Translator preview available by removing the mandatory subscription. From then until today, we have seen a 300% increase in the use of Skype Translator! ” says Microsoft on her blog.
