Microsoft prepares an increase in price by 15% for Office 365 in the program for business, starting in August. The increase is for customers who have not purchased a software price guarantee program.
The story came through ITProPortal which also states that customers who have a software warranty program will not be affected by the price increase either now or when they renew their contract.
Of course, in order to smoothly accept the price increase, Microsoft is also planning some big ones discounts for its subscriptions to make the cloud service fully accessible to everyone.
“The vast majority of our customers will not see an increase in the cost of Office 365. All of our existing Office 365 EA customers have guaranteed pricing and will not change a thing during duration of the agreement between us", said its representative companys.
"New Office 365 EA customers who have no prior purchase of our products will notice a price increase." The same source adds that in an effort to address the price increase, greater discounts will be offered for Office 365 E1, E3 and E4 subscriptions, which currently available at the price of € 6,50, € 19,00 and € 20,90 respectively.
