Microsoft released an update to it Windows App Studio which now supports Windows Store packages.
The Windows App Studio has been available for more than two years. Its last update was six months ago with support for developing apps on Windows 10. Now, the company has gone a step further, allowing users to publish their apps to the Windows Store directly from App Studio, without the need for Visual Studio.
App creators can now with the new updated program build and publish their Universal Windows 10 apps directly from App Studio. Also, App Studio comes with the following characteristics which improve its usability:

- Unique Simulator (full web display)
- App collection for Windows App Studio
- Live Tiles Corrector
- Advanced theme and icon corrector
- Better support for sideloading for Windows 10 applications
- Hero image processor
- Improvements to UX in applications created with the addition of optical features
- Support for original Windows 10 IoT
- Windows App Studio Puget Packages
- Source code in GitHub for libraries and application samples
Additionally, Windows 8.1 applications can now be converted to Universal Windows 10 applications using the latest version of App Studio, so they can be published in no time. Users who have used App Studio to create applications for Windows and Windows Phone should update this release to target the latest Microsoft operating system.
