Microsoft announced that after the first 24 hours of the availability of the new operating system, the Windows 10 they are now installed on more than 14 million devices. 
The company still distributes the functional system and if you haven't received any notification you should be a little patient as it says it may take a few weeks before everyone who is interested gets the new Windows 10.
While Microsoft hasn't given exact numbers, we know there were 5 million Windows Insiders which means that about 9 million consumers have installed the new operating system on their computer for the first time.
Recall that Microsoft has publicly stated that it aims to install Windows 10 on 1 billion computers three years after their release but seems to be far from it. However, the company seems to be quite satisfied with the pace of installation.
With a few maths, 14.000.000 within 24 hours is equivalent to 583.333 installations per hour, 9722 facilities per minute and 162 facilities per second. Of course, this rhythm will not last forever.
