Microsoft just he said officially that the new operating Windows 10 will be released on July 29th for everyone globally. So everyone who uses Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 will be able to upgrade to the new operating system for free system from the same day.
Terry Myerson, head of the Microsoft OS division, today confirmed that July 29 is the release date of Windows 10, adding that anyone who buys a computer from today until the end of the next month running on Windows 8.1 reserves the right free upgrade to the new operating system.
“On July 29, you can get Windows 10 for PC and tablets by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer. If you buy a new device with Windows 8.1, then you will be able to get the upgrade to Windows, and many retail stores will upgrade your new device for you,” says Myerson.
Early this morning, Microsoft started to show notifications to upgrade Windows 10 to computers running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed the values for Window 10, (we have only reports from Russian leaker Wzor) so it remains to be seen whether the information published by Newegg is accurate or not.
