Μετά τη δωρεάν διάθεση των Windows 10 στους χρήστες που τρέχουν αυθεντικά Windows 7, 8 και 8.1, η Microsoft μόλις ανακοίνωσε ένα πειραματικό program targeting its "customers" who use pirated copies.
Microsoft's Terry Myerson has confirmed today that the experiment will soon begin in the United States, and if successful, it will be extended to other countries.
You're using Windows 10 and can't activate them, or a pirated previous version of Windows that's eligible for free upgrade if it would be legit, don't be happy… you won't get any permission of using Windows 10 for free.
Microsoft just announced that it would be easier for those running non-genuine Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 to upgrade to Window 10.
"One of the most interesting things we've learned from the upgrade is the creative efforts our clients with non-genuine Windows have made to upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1."
said Myerson.
So Microsoft will launch the experiment in the United States, where the company will offer "a one-click Get Genuine opportunity through the Windows Store."
For those of you who haven't activated Windows 10 yet, Microsoft released two cumulative updates today. One of them adds an easier way activations.
