The name of the application itself explains almost everything for the purpose of the application. Your Phone program will be a modern version of Phone Companion, although Microsoft itself says it takes a very different approach.
Your Phone will keep your phones synchronized with PCs running Windows 10, offering quick access to content stored on your mobile device without having to unlock it. Joe Belfiore will give a demonstration of the application, showing how images, videos and documents on phones can be used through Windows 10.
Microsoft will make the app available to Insider sometime this week, but the app is already available in the Microsoft Store, and it seems almost everyone can download it.
