H Compulab he said the MintBox Mini 2, an upgrade of a miniature desktop computer running Mint Linux. The biggest upgrade from the first version of the MintBox Mini is in the processor, as the company changed AMD with a quad-core Intel Celeron J3455. 
The picture above shows that the Mini 2 is a bit bigger than a mouse, but in its basic configuration (costing $ 299) it has 4GB of RAM, a 64GB solid-state drive and the “Apollo Lake” series CPU.
With 50 dollars in addition, you can have the Pro version, which has twice the RAM and more storage capacity (120GB). The MintBox Mini 2 features a USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0, HDMI output and a Gigabit Ethernet port. 
If wired is not preferred connection on Internet, the Mini 2 has built-in Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth support.
Of course, the most important thing is that the Mini 2 comes with it Mint 19 preinstalled. Distribution in the 19 version features the Timeshift system recovery feature.
Compulab receives orders directly for the MintBox Mini 2, and the dispatch of the device is expected to begin mid-next month. The company also says that you will be able to order the new Linux PC via Amazon from August.
