The popular torrent site MKVCage, which distributes torrents to other sites, is being prosecuted by producers of the action movie Hellboy.
Almost immediately after the lawsuit was filed, the website went offline and so far, no one knows if it will return. It is also not yet known if the downtime of the website is related to the legal issue mentioned above.
The MKVCage team uploads their movies to various torrent sites and has amassed several friends over the past few years.
The band also has their own site at MKVCage.com, where they share their latest releases. However. in recent days, the website does not respond.

The complaint states:
Defendant Faizan operates an interactive website mkvcage.com and mkvcage.fun which include a library files torrent for movies protected by Copyright. Τα αρχεία torrent μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν από μια εφαρμογή client BitTorrent to download and play movies for free and without license.

The producers found the name of the accused from domain sale site Namecheap. The same person is also listed as the owner of the domains mkvcage.com, Μkvcage.ws, Μkvcage.cc and Μkvcage.me. The alleged owner used PayPal to pay for at least one of them.
