Facebook removed direct messages from the main application for mobile devices by forcing users to download the Messenger app to be able to chat with their friends. 
So the members of the largest social network who want to read their messages from mobile devices, are in front of a message that states that "your conversations have been moved to Messenger."
After the message is displayed, the user is automatically transferred to the Facebook Messenger download page on Google Play.
The motivation behind this news movement του Faceboοk φαίνεται να έχει νόημα. Το κοινωνικό δίκτυο διαθέτει ήδη two of the most popular services vschangemessages to the world. One is apparently WhatsApp and the other is Messenger which has become autonomous from the social network.
So the company seems to be planning to separate its services by leaving Facebok's main application for browsing and publishing content, while Messenger will be just for chatting with groups and friends.
But one application for Messenger and one for the main Facebook application, is very… This practically means two separate applications for the same service on your mobile devices. Probably Facebook did not think so much about battery life, or the transition from one application to another.
