MX Linux, a Linux distribution based on fixed Debian. The distribution came from cooperation between its communities antiX and MEPIS Linux that has ceased to grow.
Uses Xfce by default desktop, and is an operating system that combines an elegant and efficient desktop with simple settings, high stability, stable performance and a minimal footprint. In short, it is a fairly light distribution that does not sacrifice quality.
Today the team of MX Linux has announced the release of a new version of the Debian-based distribution.
The new version, MX Linux 16.1, now supports encryption of /home, and adds the Adobe Flash at the installation ISO. The update has LibreOffice 5.2.6.
"What's New in MX-16.1?
Installer improvements: The program installer now supports home directory encryption. It is an experimental feature. Fixed an issue with partition boot flags that was affecting some computers (Dell). So now it works for UEFI 2 systems as well.
We have included the new official Adobe Flash in the ISO, thanks to Adobe's recent license. Installability / Uninstalls through the regular package managers, including the MX-Package Installer in the “Popular Applications” tab
Note that the Adobe Flash package will work for Firefox but also with Chromium (includes the original classic NPAPI and PPAPI plugins ie pepperflash). New default theme and new MX-Linux wallpapers… ”
