From the season of the first mobile phones, tips for the right one charging of the devices were given and taken and continue to this day. But what is myth?
Below we record and demolish them 5 most popular myths related to battery charging and wear, and note what's really true.
Myth 1: Third-party chargers are destroying the smartphone's battery
The truth is that it is best to prefer chargers coming in the package along with the mobile, however, branded chargers will not damage the battery.
In spite of all, however, cheap low quality chargers that have not passed the required controls and certifications security.
Myth 2: Mobile should not be used while charging
There is no no problem at all to use them smartphones as they charge, as long as they are do not you use rigid chargers of dubious quality.
This myth started because there was a fear of it being caused electric shock to the user and was saved from an accident to the user of an iPhone on a flight while charging. In fact, the "bad" charger was to blame for the accident and the explosion of the iPhone.
Myth 3: It is "forbidden" to charge the cell phone all night
With modern smartphones requiring constant charging (depending on the use of course), most sleep before letting them charge to start the day with a full battery in the morning.
The mobile phone in such a case, really proves to be… smart, even when the charging is completed bypasses the battery and does not feed it with current.
Myth 4: The phone does not need to be turned off
All machines need to rest, even smartphones. The battery may not be exactly the "engine", but it has been shown to be good to disable the smartphone occasionally and not charging it to prolong the battery life.
Myth 5: Do not charge the mobile phone until "the battery is completely empty"
Previously, with the batteries being from others components and not Li-ion like most of today, that is the case it was essential.
The current batteries extend their service life with continuous loads before it closes the mobile because they were completely unloaded. The ideal thing is to keep your cell phone battery in 40%-90% charging whenever necessary.
Basic principles of maintenance
You preserve the battery (and by extension the device in which it is installed) in as much as possible cooler environment. When the battery heats up, regardless of whether it is used or not.
At an average temperature 0oC, one battery lithium in one year it will lose 6% of its maximum capacity. In one waist temperature 25oC, he will lose it 20%, when the temperature rises to 40 points, the rate of losses rises to 35%.
Because in Greece the climate is hot, avoid leaving the mobile in places exposed to sun, especially in summer, when temperatures are generally higher.
