ESET announced today that it is launching the latest versions of security products for Windows home users. New versions of ESET Internet Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus and ESET Smart Security Premium offer enhanced protection.
Security improvements cover malware detection, web banking, password security access and smart home protection, and respond to ESET's goal of creating a safer digital world for everyone.
With the growing volume of cyber attacks, it is vital that users are safe in their online activities. These updates provide solutions to problems with key issues such as electronic payments and banking threats, identity theft and leakage, stolen passwords and the security of interconnected devices.
ESET is constantly improving its solutions to ensure users have the latest technologies cybersecurity without burdening their system operation. The updates offer an Enhanced Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), an Advanced Machine Learning Layer, as well as a significant reduction in the size of the Machine Learning feature.

The new feature allows users to run, by default, any supported browser in safe mode. With Safe Mode enabled, keyboard and mouse communication with the browser is encrypted, thus preventing keylogging.
In addition, thanks to the added layer of protection provided by Online Banking & Payments Protection, when the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is enabled users receive updates about impending risks of exploiting RDP by malicious software.
Finally, the ESET Password Manager feature has been completely refreshed and features new features such as remote logout and remote deletion of browsing history and is available through both browser and mobile extensions.
