Two cybercriminals have been arrested by the Electronic Crime Division through the Facebook
The arrests were conducted in the framework of targeted pan-Hellenic investigations to address the phenomenon of pornography of minors
Via profile on σελίδα social networking sites seduced a minor into sending them photos of her with obscene content
Two other nationals are also included in the case file
They were arrested by the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, as part of the investigation procedureς, δύο ημεδαποί (36χρονος και 16χρονος), σε βάρος των οποίων σχηματίστηκε δικογραφία για πορνογραφία ανηλίκων μέσω διαδικτύου. Επιπλέον στην δικογραφία περιλαμβάνονται δύο ακόμη ημεδαποί ages 47 and 16 years old.
The arrests were made in the context of targeted investigations throughout Greece to deal with the phenomenon of underage pornography, during duration of the last ten days in Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki and Xanthi.
A complaint was made that a minor girl, after a seduction she received through social networking and communications websites, sent her obscene photos.
The above-mentioned Prosecutor's Offices were informed of the above, which issued a bill to remove the confidentiality of communications. From the on-line research that followed, and in collaboration with the Internet and social networking companies, the data of the four stakeholders emerged.
In investigations carried out in homes in Thessaloniki and Vyronas, in the presence of a Prosecutor, two 2 laptops, an external hard disk and a mobile phone were seized in two cases and sent to forensic laboratories for further examination.
The arrested, with the case filed against them, were brought to the local competent Prosecution Authorities.
