The Twitter he said a new feature in the web version but also in the applications for Android and iOS, by name Mute.
As can be seen from the name, with the Mute every Twitter user can choose which user they tweets which follows they will not appear on the timeline , something similar to Unfollow in Facebook.
This does not mean that the account has been unfollow, but the user will no longer see the tweets of the selected one, while communication via DM will not be removed among users who have become "Mute".
Important, to avoid misunderstanding, is that the user who became Mute will not be informed, nor when this is cancelled energy.
This new option has begun available gradually, not just the web version of Twitter but also the official iOS and Android apps.
