It just appeared. Attention all Facebook users, they are released modified websites, which are hosted by Amazonaws.com servers. The web pages are a copy of the Facebook login page as shown in the photo below.
The scam appears on the timelines of members of the popular social network like a porn video. Scammers claim it is a “Super Video” to entice users to watch it. Of course to allow them to watch the video they will first have to provide the e-mail and password they use on Facebook.
Trying to find out exactly what the new scam does, from iGuRu.gr we tried to connect with data of an account that does not exist. As soon as we clicked the login button the fake login page redirected us to porntube, to a real porn video.
This scam is not a scam that aims to fill your computer with malware. Fraudsters with several phishing pages (links below) are trying to get your login credentials in Facebook.
Here are the malicious links as our friend sent them to us from safer-internet.gr.
As is known, links can be changed at any time. If you find yourself on a Facebook login page, look at the address bar. It should be safeconnection (with green pad) and the url should indicate the domain of the social network.
So be careful. The specific tactics of the fraudsters are well-known and they still seem to be victims to continue to use it. If you see a porno video on your wall simply choose to stay away.
