To mark 30's birthday, Swatch built an automatic mechanical watch movement consisting of exactly 51 parts. The same number of components were used in its first quartz watch companys.
Η creation of this particular watch, is a real feat, as self-winding watches are much more complicated than quartz watches, often containing over 500 parts.
Sistem51 except than that it has something else that makes it stand out: A single screw connects all the parts allowing them to work. stripped guts of the audience. The "chassis" of the watch is hermetically sealed, so that the mechanism inside will not need cleaning or lubrication.
Since the 51 is assembled entirely from robot, and not by human hands, sells for $150, in a market where prices are usually very expensive.
