Do you think an intruder is on your computer using your network? Do you think they are watching you? A simple automated way to find out is a free app CurrPorts of Nirsoft.
CurrPorts is a software monitoringnetwork that displays a list of all applications that have opened TCP/IP and UDP ports on your computer. But the interesting features are described below.
For each port in the list, the application gives information about the process that opened the port, displays its name, gives the full path to where it is located, displays information about its version (the name of product, την περιγραφή του αρχείου, και ούτω καθεξής), τον χρόνο που δημιουργήθηκε, και ποιος χρήστης τη δημιούργησε. Έτσι μπορείτε να γνωρίζετε από που ήρθε η επίθεση.
Additionally, the application will allow you to close all unwanted TCP connections, and stop the process or processes that opened the ports. You can save all information about TCP / UDP ports to an HTML, XML, or plain text document.
The application will automatically pink all suspicious TCP / UDP ports used by unknown applications in pink as it recognizes which of them have no version information and icon.
If you are interested in the application, you can download it for free here.
More technical details on how the app works, you can find on the official website of Nirsoft.
