Noisegate? The first to spot the flaw was Stephen Hackett, from the 512 Pixels blog. He noticed the defect for the first time in duration of restoring his device from iCloud. Hackett realized that the noise was not coming from the speaker, but from the device itself. You can hear the audio in the video below.
But there are others who have identified the same defect as Hackett on their devices (we are always talking about iPhone 7 Plus). One of them is also the former Apple PR employee and TechCrunch editor Darrell Etherington.
At this time, it is not clear whether "noisegate" is endemic to all iPhone 7 Plus devices, or has only appeared on a few defective models. Apple, after reporting the problem, said that Stephen Hackett could return his phone to the Apple Store for replacement.
@ismh brand new, just-unboxed doing the same thing right now. did not restore, set up as new (still DL-ing email etc)

The iPhone 7 Plus is an incredible phone, in terms of processing power. The rating Google Octane V2 which measures how fast a phone is with processes JavaScript, is almost eight times larger than that of rival Samsung Galaxy S7.
The A10 Fusion processor is wearing an engine of its own Ferrari on a phone.
The fact has made many suspect that the processor is the one that causes the noise. Naturally nothing has been officially confirmed by the company. We will wait and see.
