A publication of the German website WinFuture reveals more details about the upcoming Nokia 8, pointing out that the device could be launched later this month. This means that the new phone could be released in the next two weeks, although HMD could present it in early August.
The Nokia 8 is codenamed TA-1004 and is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the same chip used in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and OnePlus 5. Processor is currently the flagship chip for mobile devices, and HMD clearly wants to compete with the big names with its new model.
The device will feature 4GB RAM, but there are also rumors suggesting that a version of 6GB RAM will also be released. The new Nokia 8 will have a preset storage capacity on 64 GB and will probably support microSD cards.
