This fund will be closely linked to Nokia's HERE and is expected to identify companies and technologies that can support a range of applications and services around HERE.

It is worth noting that the HERE is a part that will remain under Nokia's control after the acquisition of the Devices and Services Microsoft. The agreement provides for HERE patents to be used on Windows Phone-enabled devices and Microsoft's key feature devices for the next four years. However, Nokia will retain control of the unit, which is expected to deliver significant profits in the future.

Nokia is not the only company active in integrating digital capabilities into future vehicles. Apple has already announced CarPlay in με τις Ferrari, Mercedes Benz και Volvo, ενώ σε συνεργασία με αρκετές αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίες έχει δημιουργήσει its use by drivers, just using their voice. At the same time, Google has announced from January the Open Automotive Alliance with first members Audi, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai and Nvidia.
