The first official condemnation of the NSA's actions is a fact

courtA federal judge today ruled that a US National Security Surveillance program that collects phone metadata by US citizens is unconstitutional. It is the first official condemnation of NSA's spy actions.

In lawsuits brought against her s by activist Larry Klayman, the US District Judge Richard Leon issued a preliminary injunction restraining the actions of the NSA (after) to Klayman's Verizon account. However, the decision can be appealed by the NSA.

The decision also stated that the government should destroy any Klayman telephone metadata collected through NSA's telephone surveillance program.
