H new edition Opera 38 Stable was released today 8 June 2016. It features a new energy-saving feature, but also other improvements.
The new version of the Opera browser is already available for λήψη, and you can download it using automatic updates, or by downloading a copy from the Opera website.

The new feature that Opera 38 Stable brings is a power saving mode. The browser has the option choiceof energy saving when your device is not plugged in so you can use it for a longer time without charging.
The new version of Opera contains several improvements not seen for the energy saving:
It reduces the activity of tabs in the background.
Uses cpu less often.
It stops unused plugins automatically.
Frame rate when playing media takes 30 frames per second.
Video playback parameters have improved, and video encoders with hardware acceleration are required.
Browser animations stop.
The new Opera displays one icon battery in the browser's address bar when the device's power cord is plugged in. One click on it shows what you can do to save more energy.
