Microsoft a new version of the Paint app has been released for Windows that includes Paint Cocreator, an AI component that helps them users of Paint to create works of art.
Paint Cocreator uses DALL-E, a productive visual arts platform artificialς νοημοσύνης από την OpenAI. Το ενσωματωμένο σύστημα λειτουργεί παρόμοια με το Image Creator της Microsoft, στο οποίο μπορεί να έχει access any of the Bing website.
So Paint users can describe what they want to create with the AI, and the AI makes an image from the instructions. They can choose a style, e.g. pixel art, and hit the create button to start the process.
All users get 50 credits to start using Paint Cocreator. But for this, they must first sign in to their Microsoft account.
The new feature also has other limitations:
- Microsoft has Paint Cocreator available on Windows 11 Canary and Dev Insider systems. Not all Insiders have the new feature.
- Paint Cocreator is only available in certain countries: United States, France, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Italy and Germany.
- Instructions are provided in English only.
Image creation is limited in the same way as Bing Image Creator. Microsoft uses content filters to "prevent the creation of images that may be harmful, offensive, or inappropriate."
Finally, Microsoft has added the new feature to its Paint image editor, even though it doesn't offer anything more than Image Creator on Bing.
