New firmware for Lumix cameras from Panasonic

Panasonic LUMIX

Η Panasonic news has just been released aimed at some of its digital cameras LUMIX.

Specifically, the 1.1 version for DMC-SZ8 and DMC-LZ40 devices and the 1.2 version for DMC-TZ55, DMC-TZ56, and DMC-ZS35 were released.

As far as the changes are concerned, the 1.1 update improves the menu display for the French-Canadian and English languages, and corrects the issue of the LCD screen that was not illuminated in rare cases when the device was switched on.

As for the other cameras, since the aforementioned changes were added to the previous Firmware 1.1 for the ZS35, TZ56 and TZ55 cameras, the newer firmware version 1.2 only improves the performance of focus for these devices.

If you plan to upgrade your machine with the latest software, simply download, save and unzip the appropriate package for your device. Copy the .elf file and the firmware folder to a formatted SD memory card. Now, insert the SD card into the LUMIX drive while it is powered Off, press the zoom in the wide side (ie as if you were zooming out) while holding down the play button and select "Yes" in the dialog box that appears on your screen to start the upgrade.

Please note that while the installation is in , turning off the camera, removing the SD card, removing it ς της συσκευής, ή ακόμα και το άνοιγμα του διαμερίσματος της κάρτας μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε αποτυχία ενημέρωσης που μπορεί να προκαλέσει σοβαρές δυσλειτουργίες στη συσκευή σας.
