H hacking ομάδα Pangu μόλις ανακοίνωσε επίσημα το jailbreak για συσκευές της Apple με iOS 9.1, Μαζί με το νέο εργαλείο, παρουσίασαν και ένα teaser για το jailbreak για συσκευές της 4ης γενιάς του Apple TV, που θα κυκλοφορήσει την επόμενη εβδομάδα.
The jailbreak is available on the official websiteσελίδα of Pangu and only works for the 64bit versions of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
The issue, of course, is that Apple has stopped providing iOS 9.1 to those who want to upgrade, so no one can downgrade this version anymore.
This means that only those who chose to continue using 9.1 or forgot to update their operating system can use the Pangu jailbreak.
The hackers report on their jailbreak that they were able to exploit a bug in the iOS 9.1 core. This particular bug has been fixed in the next iOS version 9.2.
