Patch Tuesday KB4088776: The new cumulative Windows 10 updates released by Microsoft in March 2018 for the "Fall Creators Update" are probably not so consistent.
Update KB4088776 which would bring security (and non-security) fixes to systems using the functional by Microsoft, proves once again that it comes with a number of problems on some computers.
The publications in the company forums show a new updated version αποτυγχάνει να εγκατασταθεί, καθώς αρκετοί users they report that they get error 0x80070002 before the changes are applied, and when the system reboots they see the update as not installed.
As it happens every month, it is not clear exactly what causes these issues, but one user reported that he tried to do a clean install of Windows 10, to no avail. These updates could not be installed.
At this point it is difficult to estimate how common this error is, but the more users who install this cumulative update, the better the chances of identifying the error in the code.
For now, Microsoft recommends installing cumulative updates as soon as possible.
