Patch Tuesday May 2019: H Microsoft has just released a new series of cumulative updates for Windows 10, as part of its regular monthly Patch Tuesday updates.
The Patch Tuesday cumulative updates are primarily focused on fixing vulnerabilities in Windows 10, but also in the company's applications such as Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer.
All versions of Windows 10 will have cumulative updates this month, but most go to the October 2018 Update, or version 1809.
Please note that we are also waiting for an update of new features by the end of the month, which is known as the May 2019 Update, or 1903 version.
At this time, this update is still in Release Preview ring of the Windows program Insider for last-minute testing before being released to the general public.
The cumulative updates released for Windows 10 in May 2019 are the following:
Windows 10 version 1809: May 14, 2019-KB4494441 (OS Build 17763.503)
Windows 10 version 1803: May 14, 2019-KB4499167 (OS Build 17134.765)
Windows 10 version 1709: May 14, 2019-KB4499179 (OS Build 16299.1146)
Windows 10 version 1703: May 14, 2019-KB4499181 (OS Build 15063.1805)
Obviously too early to know if these cumulative updates will cause problems or not. However, we will continue to watch what happens.
