From the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate of the Greek police, a case was investigated regarding the violation of the provisions of the legislation on intellectual property, by people who carried out these acts on a commercial scale, as a matter of habit and as a follow-up.
Ειδικότερα για την υπόθεση αυτή, συνελήφθησαν χθες (19.11.2014) το μεσημέρι στην Πάτρα, δύο ημεδαποί 36 ετών, οι οποίοι είχαν παραβιάσει - «σπάσει» τους κωδικούς σε βάση δεδομένων με νομικό περιεχόμενο που ανήκει σε μεγάλη εταιρεία, και η οποία δραστηριοποιείται στον τομέα των υπηρεσιών Τεχνολογίας των Πληροφοριών και των Επικοινωνιών.

More specifically, the investigation of this case started after a complaint - a lawsuit filed with the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, a proxy lawyer of the above company.
Executives of the Electronic Crime Prosecution immediately carried out an online investigation, the Results which, together with the complaints, were brought to the attention of the Athens Prosecutor's Office and a preliminary examination was ordered.
From the thorough digital police investigation and analysis of the data and data that followed, the two 36-year-olds were identified as administrators of the website in question, through which the above illegal activity was carried out.
In this context, a police station at the Electronic Crime Division headed to the city of Patras and yesterday afternoon, conducted investigations, in the presence of a Judicial Officer, in the homes of the two 36s.
From the on-site digital research on digital media found, their illegal action was confirmed as web site administrators, while two (2) internal hard drives were seized.
The two 36s were arrested and the case file formed against them would be brought to the appropriate Prosecutor's Office.
The seized digital testimonies will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division for further laboratory examinations.
