That's it Google Contributor is a Google subscription service that allows you to view specific sites without advertisements against a monthly fixed cost.
Google Contributor is more of an experiment than a complete service, as it concerns specific sites that cooperate with Google in the first phase. At the moment one can watch without ads the Mashable, Imgur, Science Daily, The Onion, Urban Dictionary and WikiHow. The monthly cost is 1, 2 and 3 dollars depending on what the user chooses and then the ads disappear and the places where the banners used to appear are empty.
According to The Verge, that money goes to the sites, but it's not clear if Google keeps a portion of it. At the same time, no official information has been given on whether the list of websites to which the suspension applies will be further enriched projectionof advertisements through Google Contributor.
Google, however, in its relevant announcement highlights the word "experiment" for Google Contributor, so it is not surprising that its limited scope or the fact that one can use this service through an invitation. It remains to be seen what the acceptance of the public will be and how the service will go in the economic field.
