In February of 2015 at the IEEE international Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), the processor Intel Xeon E7 v3 "Haswell-EX", manufactured with the Tri-Gate technology at 22nm.

However, it is not the number of transistors, but the number of cores stealing the show, as the Xeon E7 v3 “Haswell-EX” will have 18 cores and through her technology Hyper Threading will be able to manage 36 threads.
Finally, Haswell-EX has 45MB Last level cache (LLC), while it is not missing DDR4 controller, PCIe Gen3 and collaboration with motherboards with to 8 socket.
