New Innovations from Philips Screens at IFA 2015

MMD, the leading company and brand license partner of Philips Monitors, once again raises the bar in the performance and clarity of monitors by participating in IFA 2015.

Visitors who want to see the new innovations of monitors for professional and entertainment applications will surely separate Philips stand at Hall 22 while staying at the show, which takes place from 4 to 9 in Berlin in September.1

A separate highlight is the new curved screen, the first for Philips. The 34-inch screen wraps around the user's line of sight to create a truly immersive experience. By placing the user at the center of the action, he creates more personal space and provides absolute concentration at work.

Edge-to-edge glass and an ultra-slim frame enhance the simplicity and maximize the viewing surface. The graphics are particularly sharp, thanks to CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD resolution (3440 x 1440), AH-IPS LCD technology and a wide viewing angle that bring the image to life.

Sound quality is just as stunning. Through the accurate placement of audio signals, DTS Sound technology on the screen enhances the quality of music, movie, streaming, and gameplay to new levels.

Users enjoy immersive virtual surround sound experience along with rich bass and dialogue enhancements as well as maximized levels of intensity free of any interruptions or distortions.

Also present at the exhibition will be the new 27-inch Philips LCD screen with UltraClear 5K resolution.

The new display also features PerfectKolor technology, which ensures a factory-calibrated 99% AdobeRGB color space and one billion τα. Philips

Extending the intensity of the colors, a new 27 IPS-ADS Adobe RGB display with Quantum Dot Color IQ ™ is also presented for the first time at IFA 2015. This transformation technology achieves 50% more color than traditional LED displays. It is more affordable, costing less than most similar technologies, and is more energy efficient: Quantum Dot Color IQ consumes less than 25 energy compared to similar technologies.3

The Base makes its European debut at IFA 2015 Plus. Ambiglow technology creates a halo of light above and around the base, which synchronizes with the screen image for an even more immersive experience. The light can be seen even when the screen is closed, so users can adjust the color and brightness to create a unique atmosphere in their space. There is also the possibility of setting a time to wake up or sleep with the color of your choice.4

Its innovative SoftBlue technology displays MMD on an 24 inch screen at IFA 2015. SoftBlue technology protects the eyes and reduces their fatigue by mitigating the effects of exposure to blue light. This is accomplished by eliminating blue light emissions at potentially harmful wavelengths without sacrificing the fidelity and quality of the original color. Therefore, users enjoy good eye health as well as professional-grade color quality.

MMD will present all of the above Philips innovations and displays at Philips' stand at Hall 22. Visitors will have the opportunity to try out the screens and experience the viewing quality themselves.
