PhotoDemon is a free editor photos, open source, for Microsoft's Windows operating system.
PhotoDemon is a well designed Processor φωτογραφιών για συσκευές Microsoft Windows. Είναι ελαφρύ (μόλις 12 Megabyte), portable and very fast when it comes to opening photos, applying effects or editing and saving.
It is a portable program for Windows environments, ie it does not need to be installed and does not require an administrator license to run. Works for Windows XP to Windows 10.
Simply download the file from its official page on github, unzip it to the system and run the PhotoDemon application immediately. The developer promises that the program leaves no traces on your system, except for the files that are placed in the temporary folder.
It supports 12 languages but unfortunately Greek is not among them. The developer states that any translation is welcome if you want to help. Each language is based on a unique xml file and translating it is not a difficult task. During the first run, the program asks you to adjust the Theme and the color scheme of its appearance. To get started, drag and drop a photo into its main window or use the upload options provided.
PhotoDemon offers group photo viewing and editing, as well as built-in macro recording to speed up frequently used processes.
It can read common file formats image, camera RAW formats and Adobe Photoshop PSD files, animated gifs and pngs, and Windows ICOs.
The software supports a wide range of features, such as:

- Unlimited undo / repeat.
- Canvas tool support.
- Many filters and effects to choose from.
- Support for customization tools such as HDR, curves or levels.
- Basic painting tools, such as brushes or prints.
- A search tool to quickly find tools, customizations, effects, and other program features.
