The global giant United Group which controls the telecommunications company NOVA is sold for 2 billion euros.
The companies JP Morgan & Morgan Stanley have taken over its total sale giant United Group at a price of 2 billionmillions euro. United Group has businesses around the world, such as SBB, Telemach BiH, Telemach Croatia, Telemach Montenegro, Telemach Slovenia, TotalTV, NetTV Plus, CAS Media Serbia, Vivacom, Nova.
In Greece it controls the telecommunications company NOVA, which in turn had recently acquired WIND.
The price of 2 billion is extremely high and if the offer does not bear fruit, i.e. no prospective buyer is found, then the sale of its individual elements, such as NOVA in Greece, will be considered.
JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley are expected to start the process of looking for an investor from next month. The process is expected to take months, but so far there is interest from some strategic investors such as Etisalat and Saudi Telecom.
The majority share package of United Group is held by BC Partners and she is essentially the main seller.
