If you do not know, Portable Apps are the reason PortableApps project exists. These are versions of some programs that do not need to be installed on a system to work. On the contrary, thanks to its monolithic architecture, the executable has all the necessary configuration files, so that it can be used on any computer without installation.

The PortableApps project has a wide range of portable applications that you can simply insert into a USB stick.

With USB, you can use your favorite applications on any computer.

All the apps it has on PortableApps are free. Here we should mention that PortableApps does not contain pirated software on its platform, although on the almost all commercial applications are released in portable versions.

But in the list of applications contained in its pages, you will find many free alternatives that do not require installation.
