The cumulative KB4464330 update of Windows 10 1809 version causes a blue screen

The Windows 10 nightmare never ends. After the failed update of October 2018 ( 1809) Microsoft released a cumulative update that causes BSOD (blue screen) on HP computers.

Windows 4464330 cumulative update KB10 for version 1809 as well as KB4462919 for the April release (version 1803) forced HP systems fall into an endless routine resulting in a blue screen (BSOD) with no easy method of returning to normal operation.

Microsoft has already acknowledged the bug and said it is working with it -Packard for delivering a fix, but so far the respective KB pages of the two updates have not been updated with information about this issue.

The official update details of KB4464330 and KB4462919 indicate that they do not cause problems for Windows 10 devices, although it is now clear that things are not so rosy.

The observation was started by Windows users who had HP machines and posted in this thread of the Microsoft Community Forum that many of the HP systems have been affected by the issue after the of these updates (To see the thread you will need to fill in a random name, which does not already exist in their database, without having to confirm information)

From forum discussions it appears that only a limited number of HP PCs running Windows 10 version 1809 will likely be affected by the , but mainly because this particular version of the operating system has been temporarily retired and not all HPs have had time to update. The bug is also present in the April 2018 Update, which now runs on nearly 90 percent of all Windows 10 devices.

Microsoft has not provided any other information about a possible fix and an update that will correct the update problem (!!!), although it is self-evident that the company should work as much as possible to solve the issue as much as possible sooner. At this time, removing unwanted updates seems to be the only way for the affected users to progress.
