Project SkyCall, a MIT drone for guided tours

Researchers from Senseable City Lab's MIT have developed a small remote-controlled aircraft that can potentially lead you where you want to go.

It's called Project , and consists of a drone and a . It can give directions (the drone talks!) and guide new students and visitors around campus. The app allows you to call a flyer and ask for directions to where you want to go. The drone uses your smartphone's GPS to locate you. After typing in the desired location, the drone starts heading in that direction, continuing to track you, so that it doesn't fly too far away from you and you lose it.
