From yesterday, December 27, in the Covid-Free Wallet application, citizens will be able to add their digital identity.
The Deputy Minister of Digital Mediagovernmentς Γιώργος Γεωργαντάς προανήγγειλε την προσθήκη της ψηφιακής identity in the Covid-Free Wallet app, to reduce congestion in retail stores and cinemas. So users can download the app from both Google Play Store as well as by Apple App Store, depending on the device smartphones they own.
There are only photo, ονοματεπώνυμο και ημερομηνία γέννησης για την ταυτοποίηση του προσώπου μαζί με το QR code του πιστοποιητικού και για το πιστοποιητικό ταυτοπροσωπίας αντλούνται στοιχεία από το TAXISnet ή από τα χρηματοπιστωτικά ιδρύματα.
Attention: This application does not replace the ID but is only used to check the vaccination or disease certificate in stores and where needed.
