Red Hat has announced a new beta version of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x series. The new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 Beta beta release brings improvements to issues ασφάλειας, στα εργαλεία διαχείρισης και στα Linux containers.
The company announcement states:
“Using Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 hardware modules, the NBDE capability is extended to provide two levels of features security in hybrid cloud operations: The network-based mechanism is implemented in the cloud, while the use of TPM on the installation site helps to update the disks more securely.
For better integration into intrusion countermeasures, the functions of the wall protections of Red Hat Enterprise Linux have been improved with improvements to nftables.
The nft command line tool can also provide better control. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 beta provides new cryptographic algorithms for the RSA and ECC standards, which help maintain FIPS compliance and remain in force according to the standards cryptographyof NIST and other organizations responsible for handling sensitive information”
