Red Hat has released a development snapshot of the Red Hat series Enterprise The company's Linux 7.x. New version beta, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.7 Beta, brings a number of bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as fixes for the MDS/ZombieLoad vulnerabilities.
RHEL 7.7 Beta includes a number of enhancements and bug fixes to provide a powerful and flexible platform for the hybrid cloud computing.
Key updates include support for the latest generation of business hardware as well as recently discovered Microarchitectural Data Sampling (MDS) / ZombieLoad vulnerabilities.
The beta version also includes performance improvements network stack, as well as the ability to offload virtual switching functions to network interface card (NIC) hardware.
These features also improve the functionality of Red Hat OpenStack Platform and Red Hat OpenShift deployments, which are built for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and use virtual switching and network function virtualization (NFV).”
