You can rename a file in Explorer Windows by selecting it and pressing F2. But what about when you want to rename multiple files at once? Let's see how
1. Open a folder with many files in File Explorer. To open it easily you can press the keys shortcut Win + E together in keyboard you.
Select more than one file or folder. To do so, hold down the Ctrl key and click each file, and then release the Ctrl key. Another way to select files is by using the arrow keys and the space. Hold down the Ctrl key, and press the arrow keys to select multiple files using the Space bar. To select them all, press Ctrl + A together.
Now press the F2 key on the keyboard. The name of the first file will be editable.
Another alternative is after you have selected all folders or files to right-click on a folder and rename or rename them.
Write the desired name to the folder or file. All names will change with the one you typed, along with a serial number.
If a folder name contains a dot (such as the folder iGuRu.gr the last part will not change as you see in the last photo.
