The Robolinux, a fast and easy-to-use Linux distribution based on Debian that uses as working environments GNOME and Xfce. The OS has just been updated to version 7.7.1.
The operating system claims that it can help users to "move" from Windows σε Linux χωρίς να χρειάζεται να εγκαταλείψουν τις αγαπημένες τους εφαρμογές. Ένα εργαλείο που περιέχει το λειτουργικό σύστημα και ονομάζεται ονομάζεται Stealth VM Software enables users to run Windows applications in a virtual environment. Of course, it is still not clear whether this particular project is legal. It is very surprising that Microsoft has not yet taken legal action against the developers of this distribution.
As usual, each new version of the Robolinux operating system brings something new, such as full hard disk encryption, frequent changes for Windows compatibility, or something else. The latest version of the operating system makes available the service popcorn Time which enables users to watch movies and TV shows online.
The development of a virtual Windows environment is already quite controversial in legal terms, especially for a Linux distribution. Now that project developers have added Popcorn Time by default, which is illegal in many countries, the operating system can be described as the first illegal distribution of Linux that is being released.
