The iPads with tablets of Samsung appear to be replacing Russian government officials, according to a report Guardian.
As ministers saw at a ministerial meeting, ministers were no longer using Apple tablets, and Nikolay Nikiforov, Communications and Media Minister, confirmed that the change was "not long ago".
As he said, the new tablets of the Korean company used by the ministers are "specially protected Appliances that can be used to manage confidential information'.
"Some of the information at government meetings is of a confidential nature, and these devices fully meet these requirements, having passed the toughest certification system," he added.
Nikiforov denied that Russia is deliberately limiting the use of American technology σε αντίποινα για τις κυρώσεις που επιβλήθηκαν από την Δύση για τα γεγονότα στην Κριμαία.
"We do not propose sanctions," he said, noting that he had read reports that "US special services ... will significantly increase the amount of information they are holding, which is causing major concerns to many government customers."
As he added, South Korean Companies, as well as Chinese could be of interest to Russia in this regard.
